AAE Guidelines and Position Statements

The American Association of Endodontists (AAE) publishes a yearly newsletter titled Endodontics: Colleagues for Excellence and distributes copies to endodontists, general dentists, and other specialists. The topics cover a range of endodontic subjects including the use of antibiotics, cracked teeth, diagnosis and treatment planning, regenerative procedures, and the use of advanced technology in endodontics. Each newsletter contains up to date research on the current guidelines for endodontic diagnosis and treatment.

The AAE also provides position statements on topics such as implants, traumatic injuries, maxillary sinusitis of endodontic origin and so on. These statements are useful documents when approaching complex treatment planning.
